Modular Wall and Ceiling Systems

FlexMOD can design and engineer modular wall and ceiling systems to specifically fit your application and then ship the entire system to you. All of our components are manufactured to precise standards, labeled and delivered with a complete set of CAD drawings to make on-site installation quick and convenient.

The interfacing walls, floors, ceilings and mechanical components can provide a clean room environment, effectively allowing control of air flow, pressure, temperature, humidity and filtration.

FlexMOD’s modular wall and ceiling systems can also be used for extraction labs, MIPs kitchens, grow room, office space, and be easily and conveniently expanded, reconfigured or relocated to meet your needs.

Pre-engineered Modular Systems

There are numerous advantages to using modular (or pre-engineered) systems when designing and building interior structures and many of these benefits are ideal for those in the cannabis industry.
Choosing the right wall systems for your facility is an incredibly important decision as it can play a very integral role in your ability to comply with regulatory standards.

Key Features

• Heights up to 17-feet.
• Load-bearing system with walkable roof to support and provide access to lighting and filtration equipment.
• Flush wall surfaces on both sides of the wall.
• All aluminum framework ideal for high moisture environments and aggressive sensitization and wipe-down processes.
Each modular clean-room project begins with a careful needs assessment. The clean-room wall system is then designed and engineered to specifically fit your application. All of our components are manufactured to our precise standards, labeled and delivered with a complete set of CAD drawings to make on-site installation quick and convenient. Our quality packaging minimizes shipping damage and the resulting delays. From initial design to finished installation FlexMOD can ensure that your modular clean-rooms project runs smoothly.

Flexibility for the Future

Modular is the true permanent solution because FlexMOD wall systems can be adapted and reconfigured to meet your future needs. You can add a room, a floor, and even dismantle and move the whole structure to a new location.

Why Modular?

Advantages & Benefits of Modular Construction
First let’s describe what modular is… Modular is a type of construction process in which a building is constructed off-site, under controlled plant conditions.

With one big difference: Modular facilities are finished in about half the time. Modules are put together on-site quickly, reducing weather delays, moisture getting into construction materials resulting in mold contamination, and on-site traffic from workers, equipment, and suppliers.

Modular is ....Faster

All material is pre-cut, measured and completely finished. No taping, sanding or painting. Load bearing capabilities, including 40’ clear spans. Class 100 – 1000. Wall finishes include FRP, HDPE, vinyl covered gypsum and hardboard.

Modular is....Smarter

Wall panels for your facility must comply with regulatory standards. Cannabis facilities must be able to:
• Be highly sanitized and/or regularly mild chemical cleaning
• Resist moisture Comply with CGMP standards

Our wall systems are built to code

Structural Performance

FlexMOD Modular Wall Systems are designed to comply with structural requirements of the International Building Code, with regard to load-bearing design, roof deflection and lateral load resistance. A FlexMOD Wall System can also be designed to meet earthquake zone requirements.

State Sealed Drawings

Drawings sealed with a professional engineer’s stamp are available upon request. We can provide sealed drawings for all fifty states. Contact the factory for the cost of this service.

Fire Protection

FlexMOD’s DL wall systems have gypsum board panels and commercial grade 20ga. steel doors with 18ga. steel frames. All components of these systems are non-combustible. The sandwich panels have been tested by Guardian Fire Testing Laboratories in accordance to ASTM-E-2768. The panels were found to be class A fire resistant with a flame spread of less than 5 and a smoke density of less than 10. Copies of the test results are available upon request.

Tax Advantage

FlexMOD Wall Systems can be relocated, therefore, you get the tax advantage of 7 year depreciation as opposed to 39 years required with conventional construction. Check with your financial adviser.
